Materials:

5 clear cups, water, food coloring (red, yellow and blue), paper towels

Steps:

place the 6 cups in a row, fill only the first, third and fifth cups half the way up, leaving the second and fourth cups empty.

add the coloring to the water, put red on the first cup, yellow on the third and blue to the fifth.

fold some paper towel into strips and place them in between the cups, connecting all the cups (one end in one and one end in the other) make sure the paper towel is making contact with the water in one end.

wait a few hours

you'll see the water "walked" from the cups with water into the empty ones mixing the 2 liquids and creating new colors, this occurs because of a phenomenon called capillary action, this is the same reason why plants can pull water from the ground up, and why tear ducts work, capillary action happens because the static in the molecules of porous materials such as paper towel, pulls on the molecules of water like a magnet, overcoming gravity and allowing the water to flow up the paper and then when the space is occupied, fall into the empty cup
